-----------------
DUTCH LADIES' CLOTHES

From observation of Margaret Jansz's clothes, we can see that she wore a dark long gown with long sleeves, possibly a West Friesland Sunday dress, maybe to go to church. So, we can say that Margaret Jansz possibly originated from West Friesland region in Holland. The front left and right bodices have many tiny wrapped buttons from top to bottom.

She does not seem to wear the typical red bead coral choker (necklace) with a gold clamp. She could be wearing a big brooch.

She also wears a long gold necklace.

However, her headdress is atypical of the West Friesland region. Her headdress is that from Renaissance Europe period. It is a Toque velvet cocktail cap, with many folds and maybe with some pearls or gemstones, and maybe a long ribbon in the back. It is a Spanish, French or Jewish hat style of distinction.
